Total Film Interviews Mark Wahlburg

Film magazine, Total Film managed to get an exclusive interview with the star of Max Payne himself, Mark Wahlburg. In the interview he explains a bit more about the plot - and even answers what them ‘flying angels’ were in the trailer. Mark also promiese that it is more than your average action movie; including lots of emotion and psychcology which should make for a better movie if done right.

“There’s a lot of action in this movie, but there’s also plenty of emotion and psychology,” he said. “It goes pretty deep.”

“The hallucinations are a side-effect of this drug that’s been leaked onto the streets,” he said. “A lot of the conspiracy comes from that: Max finds out that it’s a drug tested by the military to create super-soldiers, but someone has flooded the streets with it.

I’m really hoping this will be the best video game movie to date and by the sound of it, it could have a good chance given the pasts record.
